Manifesting Under the Pink Moon: Finding Balance and Harmony
As the Pink Moon rises, you might wonder about the energies present and how to transition from the deep introspection of winter’s end to the blossoming energy of spring. The Pink Moon, also known as the Breaking Ice Moon, offers subtle opportunities to create rituals that help us find harmony and balance during this transformative time.
These energies are heightened as the full moon aligns with Libra, drawing attention to any disharmonies in our lives. Following the solar eclipse in Aries, you might feel energized to chase your dreams and aspirations. As these powerful shifts occur, a few simple rituals can help turn these dreams into tangible manifestations.
Intention Setting: Journaling for Clarity
Intention-setting: before laying any groundwork, intention- setting through journaling will provide a road map of what was, what is, and what shall be. Especially focusing on themes of your safety, security and relationships. Just as we want to create a beautiful and positive future it is important to pay attention to what areas are lacking and no longer working, in order to find the balance.
A few journal prompts: Where in my life do I feel out of harmony?
In which ways can I provide more balance to my life?
What in my life is beautiful and balanced and how can I create more of it?
Remember to be honest with yourself, set a timer to provide yourself with time to reflect undisturbed. 15 to 30 minutes daily.
Take your intentions further by speaking them aloud under the moon or to yourself in the mirror. Allowing room for the written word to be spoken.Vishuddha, the throat chakra, governs communication and self-expression, which is why speaking your intentions aloud can help unlock powerful manifestations and bring light to any imbalances or blockages that may prevent these manifestation from coming to life.
Breathwork: Now that you’ve set your intentions, it’s time to bring them to life with the power of your breath. As the days lengthening and the days become warmer finding time to go into nature for some breathwork can help re-align your body. This can go hand-in-hand with journaling due to strong emotions and dis-ease that may be brought forward. By releasing this tension and stress breathwork can help boost your mood and enhance focus.
If you’re new to breathwork a great starting point is practicing box breathing, 5,5,5 which can calm the nervous system and enhance mindfulness.
Another technique, Alternate Nostril Breathing (Nadi Shodana), can further create harmony and balance in your body by realigning the feminine and masculine. An important reminder to sit comfortably and Inhale towards your spine and pelvis.
Box Breathing: Inhale for 5 second, hold for 5 seconds, exhale for 5.) Repeat 2-3 times.
Nadi Shodana: This can be achieved by alternating, right hand, your right thumb to close the right Nostril, exhaling then inhaling through left nostril. Then left pinky finger to close the left Nostril, exhaling through right Nostril, then inhaling. Completing one round (complete 2-3 times)
If you’re ready to align with these energies, try incorporating these rituals into your routine. Let the Pink Moon be your guide toward balance and manifestation. By journaling and practicing breathwork, you are actively tuning into the energies of Libra, which calls for balance, harmony, and clearing any energetic blockages.
